Tiger Motors Racing and the Tigerettes

The 1966 GTO utilized as the logo for Tiger Motors is a real race car which runs in the Pacific Northwest at Mission Raceway Park in British Colombia and Pacific Raceways in Washington State.  The Golden Tiger promotes and advertises Tiger Motors and can be seen most weekends at a sanctioned dragstrip in the Pacific Northwest.  The car was built by Dave Bisschop of SD Performance in British Colombia and has posted times in the high 9 second category at Mission Raceway Park in 2005.  The engine is a Pontiac 455c.i. block bored .060 over with Manley long rods, a Victor intake and a 1250cfm Holley Dominator carburetor. The dyno specs showed 715 hp at 5800 rpm.  The transmission is a TH400 and the rear end is a Dana 60. 

Helping to promote and advertise for Tiger Motors are the Tigerettes who appear at the racetrack with the Golden Tiger.  In addition, the Tigerettes appear at many car shows in Canada promoting and selling the company’s quality product lines.  Meshell is the lead Tigerette and has been instrumental in the success of the company at car shows and at the race track.
